Position: Small Engine Service Technician
Location: Orillia, ON

Job Description: As a Small Engine Service Technician at Byers Equipment Motorsports, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various types of lawn equipment, handheld power tools, and accessories. You'll also handle assembly, pre-delivery inspections (PDI), accessory installations, and provide on-site maintenance services via our mobile service van.

Job Requirements:

• - Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• - Technician to have their own tools and toolbox sufficient to perform needed repairs
• - Prior technical experience and training is required
  - Electrical system knowledge
  - Familiarity with two-stroke and four-stroke engines
• - Experience with carburetor tuning and adjustments
• - Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose engine and electrical issues
• - Knowledge of hydraulic systems is a plus
• - Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and advancements
• - Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
• - Vehicle transportation and a valid G license are required. Clean Drivers Abstract.
• - Computer knowledge to navigate online technical manuals and diagnostic software
• - Maintain a clean, organized work area

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, additional hours may be requested based on workload

Compensation: Hourly Range $18-25/hr + Performance Pay
